With a suction mount on your windshield. It’s passive unless you take it upon yourself to report any issues you encounter, but even then not so bad to use. To this app’s credit, when you try to input and it sense you’re moving it’ll ask you if you’re the passenger, and make you confirm that before letting you change anything.

haven’t really used it since google bought it up and integrated waze reporting to their map app. Use to love it though. Maybe i’ll come back to it with new phone.

I LOVE WAZE. If it saves me from ONE ticket (it has) that’s paid my cell phone bill in deferred insurance premiums and fines for a couple months.

She’s been at it for a year. Her commute is around 20 miles round tip each day. But she reports any and everything to boost her numbers. I’ve used it for eight months, rarely report anything. My commute is 30 to 35 miles, round trip, depending on the day.

Hah! It’s a relatively recent phone (LG G3) but Waze crapped out after upgrading to lollipop. None of the other GPS apps behave that way so I’m guessing it’s some combo of new OS, an unoptimized application, and maybe hardware. I figure it’ll get corrected in a software update or two...but until then I’m Wazeless.
